MOOF Magazine are delighted to share with you the brand new music video for “Bottles of Glass”, from San-Francisco based psych-folkie Walker Phillips’ forthcoming album God’s Eye. We have been a fan of Walker’s musical creations since we first heard his delightful debut album My Love Sunday in 2018. We hope this beautifully dreamy song and accompanying video brings you as much joy as it has to us during these uncertain times.

On the track, Phillips explains:

The song is about a girl…I think they always are…I’ll tell you part of the story – I’m a Cancer and my relationship with the moon is very profound. The line in the song is true, I did pray to the moon and she did move across the sky, suddenly and markedly, in answer. Now of course I took this to mean that my prayer would be fulfilled, but in fact the opposite happened so I don’t know, maybe I should become a Capricorn…

Walker Phillips stands by doing everything manually on analogue tape, this includes recording, mixing and mastering – he also played all of the instruments on this particular song. A highly talented individual, we eagerly anticipate his forthcoming album which will be out on God’s Eye records next month.
