Situated in the beautiful city of León in Northern Spain, Purple Weekend has proudly celebrated mod and sixties subculture for 35 years! Attracting fans from all around the world with its stellar line up which has previously included Temples, The Charlatans and Kula Shaker, amongst many others.

However, it’s not only incredible live music that Purple Weekend has to offer – there are vintage stalls, exhibitions, scooter runs and DJ sessions – bringing together generations of fans.

Their impressive 2024 line-up brings American R&B legend Curtis Harding, retro power-pop brothers The Lemon Twigs, London’s First Lady of soul P.P. Arnold and L.A. rockers The Warlocks, amongst many other acts from around the world.

They also host a number of DJs as part of their infamous all-dayers and all-nighters. This year you can find the likes of Bristol Northern Soul Club‘s Schaeffer McLean, Wanita founder Jawa Jones, creative director and crate-digger Raissa Pardini, and MOOF founder and editor Melanie Xulu spinning R&B, Boogaloo, Freakbeat, Garage, Soul & Psychedelia all day and all night!
