MOOF are over the moon to premiere the music video for “Sea Green”, a track from US indie psych-rockers, Cricketbows’, most recent EP, ‘Communion’, which was released on September 8th via Mosquito Hawk Records.

Here’s what the band had to say about the making of the music video;

“Making the music video on a downtown rooftop was fun but it was also one of the most stressful things I’ve ever done in my life. I’m not an actress. I don’t have any experience acting in front of a camera. The guys in the band were really supportive. I couldn’t have imagined doing any of this without them there to encourage me and cheer me on.”

“We were having our first rehearsal with our new drummer Kyle Sweney and our bass player, Christopher Corn was playing what would become the intro bass line on this sea-foam green bass guitar. Without discussion, we all just joined in and the entire song came together as a stream of consciousness jam session. Kyle didn’t even realize that it was an improvised song. He thought he was just hearing and learning some song that we hadn’t recorded yet. The lyrics were inspired by the color of the bass that Chris was playing and all these personal things that I was dealing with inside my head, like the death of my stepmother and other family and relationship stuff that just sort of came flooding out.”
Chad Wells (Vocals, Guitar)
